Instead of a new topic. Am saying HI Y'ALL in this one.
lamudbug at Current, and I also rarely posted there.
Retired, Goldwater Republican who changed sides when Barry got kicked out of "the party" for refusing to give up his principles.
Like him I found myself welcome among Liberals and Progressives, without having to change my beliefs.
Those beliefs Barry stood for like respect for every word of our Constitution are not welcome among today's conservatives.
I ran 'Democrats for (Arlen) Spector' and was happy when that fine decent man also was forced out of "the party" and became a Democrat.
In my life, I've seen most of the 'Democrats without principles' become republicans and most of the 'Republicans with principles' become Democrats.
Old but hoping to live long enough to call Hillary Clinton "Madam President"
