Still picking myself up from the loss of the Current.com community I started a new blog. I call it Singing Singing Singing. I introduce 11, 12, 13, and 14 year olds from all parts of the world and link to their websites. Pretty simple. My goal is to add three acts each week trying to avoid stuff from "...(insert nation here)... Got Talent, and those other Idol shows.
I was extremely tired the day I came up with the name. I tried simply naming it singing, but the name was taken. I tried adding another 'singing', but that name Singing Singing was taken too. I added another singing and voila.

Today, it's been one year for SSS. The first three months were completely dead. Only bots seemed interested. Six months in I was getting real visitors every day, and viewership has grown every month consecutively. Circumstantially, more visitors came to the website today than ever. Perhaps, this is a tipping point. I believe the site's standing is increasing among search engines. The site has a long way to go to reach viral.
My greatest satisfaction originates from the brief notes I receive from the junior stars. I can tell they enjoy being added to a club that is planet-wide. Quite often we become mutual followers over the internet. Still, I miss interest being shown by adults.
Today, I plan to build a summary of traffic statistics, post it to the site, and send the information to those who have brought the most visitors. I hope they enjoy some bragging rights.
