Claimed NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden's future unclear; Guardian reporter says he's "ready" for consequenceswww.cbsnews.com/8301-250_162-57588439/claimed-nsa-whistleblower-edward-snowdens-future-unclear-guardian-reporter-says-hes-ready-for-consequences/The man who claims to be the whistleblower behind the revelation that the National Security Agency is gathering troves of data on individuals' telephone and internet use was well-aware that his actions could land him in prison for the rest of his life, but he couldn't "live with himself" if he hadn't spoken out, according to a British journalist who has spent days speaking to him in Hong Kong. "Edward Snowden has more or less accepted his life as he knew it as over," Guardian reporter Ewan MacAskill told Sky News in a Monday morning interview from Hong Kong via Skpe. "He's lost touch with this family, his partner. His best option is maybe asylum in someplace like Iceland. That's his best chance. He realizes himself the likeliest option is he could end up in prison," said MacAskill. Click on the link for the complete article.

Sounds like a hero to me. Guardian Reporter Glenn Greenwald Blasts Calls for Leak Prosecutions Glenn Greenwald, the reporter for The Guardian who broke stories last week on the National Security Agency’s phone and internet surveillance programs, blasted calls for the prosecution of his sources for leaking classified information, saying they “deserve our praise and gratitude and not imprisonment and prosecution.”“What they did was they risked their careers and their lives and their liberty because what they were seeing being done in secret inside the United States government is so alarming and so pernicious that they simply want one thing, and that is for the American people at least to learn about what this massive spying apparatus is, and what the capabilities are, so that we can have an open, honest debate about whether that’s the kind of country that we want to live in,” Greenwald said on “This Week” Sunday.“Unfortunately, since the government hides virtually everything that they do at the threat of criminal prosecution, the only way for us to learn about them is through these courageous whistle-blowers who deserve our praise and gratitude and not imprisonment and prosecution,” Greenwald added. abcnews.go.com/blogs/politics/2013/06/guardian-reporter-glenn-greenwald-blasts-calls-for-leak-prosecutions/

Snowden does absolutely deserve to be hailed as a hero -- I am beyond sick of the lies our government expects us to swallow! Snowden and Manning deserve our praise while that worthless bush-dark deserves to be IMPEACHED!

Is This Creepy Facebook-Friendly Startup Behind the NSA PRISM Program? Palantir says it sells "software that allows organizations to make sense of massive amounts of disparate data," for purposes including "combating terrorism," and offers to bring "Silicon Valley to your doorstep." It's enjoyed early investments from the CIA, which might have something to do with its current napkin-valuation of around $5 billion, and now employs former top spooks like Michael Leiter. Palantir also happens to sell software called "Prism," which shares its namesake with an NSA spy program that also aims to bring Silicon Valley to snoop doorsteps around the Beltway. Palantir's Prism, according to a handy user manual published on TPM, "is a software component that lets you quickly integrate external databases"—exactly the kind of action that the NSA allegedly makes use of to suck up your Facebook browsing, Gmail inbox, and Google searches in realtime. ***There is a lot to this than we know! Im sure it's looking here also! Really are you surprised? Im not! "Facebook-Friendly Startup Behind the NSA PRISM Program?" my.opera.com/walmart-ramen/blog/?id=63852732

No Such Agency does not make mistakes.
This is a deliberate release of information.
They are the good guys who apparently thought our government was over the line and decided to make it right.

Edward does point to being true. Onetime when I was on Current, fighting why we need Obama, before the election, I did a WHOIS look up of my connection, ( network-tools.com ) and my PC crashed & restarted. I found what did it a system file ( home.dbdbdugbug.operaunite.com/ALL/content/D/Projects/SECURITY/Files-List.txt ) So I set it to read-only, hidden, archive & set my firewall to watch it. Never happened again! But the point is, I do not make bombs, blow things up etc. I am for life clearly seen by my post. So who shut me down to keep their IP address secret? If not the NSA would it be more likely the Republican party, etc, into the NSA to go to me? Don't know! But to the fact it happened so there is something to it! So Edward does point to things true! But he has laptops with secrets on them. Really I question if running was needed & not sitting at a congress hearing, if not stopped because of national security, in that case he had to run!

I worked security for a club than was owned by "pappa dios" Joe B. When I learned one of the partners had taken monies and absconded.
I was told: He can run but he cannot hide.
I think this is a false front. no such agency has more resources than those people and Snowden must be working for them still. Or he would be already just a name on a tombstone.
