What aging infrastructure?
I used to drive over this bridge all the time. Scary. I-5 near Mount Vernon, Wash.
The other issue here is this was a overloaded truck with special permits. Being used by an oil drilling company. We have these megaloads come through our area to the Bakken and Kearl oil fields and we are assured by the oil companies that they "know what they are doing." (One truck was so heavy it got stuck trying to get over a mountain pass. It had to turn around and find another way. Blocked the road for two days ... but they know what they are doing.)
