I've spent 2 weeks of my vacation Emailing those who were out of touch with the old defunct Current.com this web address so they
would know it existed to check in. And all that time to download
circa 5 years worth of Email blogging thousands of now defunct
web pages, to recapture the original articles' web sources so that
5 years of diligent work would not go down the drain once the old current punked out on us. I only was able to downloaded half of all that hard work onto my hard drive before they pulled the plug, but that I saved all I did is a miracle. For the July 2011-May 2013 posts, I still have my Email blog to Google a key word & terms search to blog the remainder of the original articles I never read. Throughout much of the past 5 years, I've had to work nights until
I could retire. Half awake, I never got a chance to read almost
anything I collected. But now I can. What I'll miss though is to
read all the community members comments I could have saved
if I had it more together. I don't mean for this to be a speech, but
it's the 3954 registered community members who read out minds
that I'll truely miss. The management of the former Current.com
never sensed it, but they were only a meeting hall. We are what made that social interactive community if citizen Journalists &
bloggers realy great. I hope we live long & prosper here on current reborn so the word gets around and attracts all the good souls they cast adrift. Don't have to live like refugees. Already I
see that KB723 et al are here. That's a good sign.
