This was a fantastic show that never seems to get the credit it's due in favor of the Twilight Zone. I've always felt this show was better. A lot of great people had early parts in these episodes, they did amazing special effects/sound effects for the time and considering the budget issues also and had amazing stories! The remake series wasn't bad and had some good episodes also.

This was a fantastic show that never seems to get the credit it's due ...... I respectfully suggest Night Gallery also falls into that category. I lived those days. I love those shows. Firefly was also one such IMHO We worked hard to get the original Star Trek back on after the $geeks$ canceled it. Lots of letters and protests.

I wasn't aware that there was an Outer Limits series in the sixties - I am only familiar with the one that began in 1995: www.imdb.com/title/tt0112111/

First lines of each episode: There is nothing wrong with your television set. Do not attempt to adjust the picture. We are controlling transmission. If we wish to make it louder, we will bring up the volume. If we wish to make it softer, we will tune it to a whisper. We will control the horizontal. We will control the vertical. We can roll the image, make it flutter. We can change the focus to a soft blur or sharpen it to crystal clarity. For the next hour, sit quietly and we will control all that you see and hear. We repeat: there is nothing wrong with your television set. You are about to participate in a great adventure. You are about to experience the awe and mystery which reaches from the inner mind to — The Outer Limits.Last lines of each episode: We now return control of your television set to you. Until next week at the same time, when the control voice will take you to — The Outer Limits.en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Outer_LimitsI recommend you also find and check out Night Gallery en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Night_GalleryBack when this country and it's media had free speech some wonderful things were on our table, and on our tv's.
