Peter recalled, “The funny part is that the separation didn’t really change things for the kids very much.” He moved to Stamford, nearly an hour from Newtown, but still saw the boys every weekend. When Adam entered middle school, he proudly took Peter to see it. “And talk about talkative: man, that kid, you couldn’t shut him up!” Peter said. In the years that followed, they would talk about politics. Adam was a fan of Ron Paul, and liked to argue economic theory. He became fascinated with guns and with the Second World War, and showed an interest in joining the military. But he never talked about mass murder, and he wasn’t violent at school. He seldom revealed his emotions, but had a sharp sense of humor. When Peter took him to see Bill Cosby live, Adam laughed for an hour straight. He loved reruns of “The Bob Newhart Show” and “Get Smart,” which he would watch with his dad. One Christmas, Adam told his parents that he wanted to use his savings to buy toys for needy children, and Peter took him shopping for them. www.newyorker.com/reporting/2014/03/17/140317fa_fact_solomon?currentPage=all&mobify=0

This just makes me sick to my stomach Please help me out with this. The video is very vague in its implications. Was it a conspiracy? Did they manipulate his brain in some way? Is it total fiction? I just don't get it.

I just don't get it. I think its an attempt to label ron paul supporters as crazy and possible terrorists. I still question alot about what happened at sandy hook. I used to post alot of that stuff back when current was around ,

I used to post alot of that stuff back when current was around , Politics is sick in a way. There is little truth to be found in politics. There is little honesty to be found in politics. Politics is a trick to make people believe without going through the effort of convincing anyone. I used to say on Current: If you want to know truth study science and history. If you want everyone to be happy study music. If you want everyone to be happy and not know the truth study religion. If you want everyone to be miserable and not know the truth study politics.

Yeah, I think the object of politics is to get people worked up and jerk them into a hate frenzy. I believe Ibrake might be sensing this here too, so I responded. Sometimes I like to give back to the entire subject of politics some of its own medicine.

Good to hear from you Wolfess. Right back atcha!! :-) I think you are too right about politics being sick, but I don't think it was always that way, it's just that quite honestly since Reagan was prez politics (along with everything else in this country) has gotten waaaaay off course. Everyone now seems to be out for themselves, and the one with the most money wins -- Citizen's Untied (not a typo) and the McCutcheon decision seriously prove this.
