The Man Who Planted Trees - Pay It Forward to the Year 4012David Milarch is the co-founder of Archangel Ancient Tree Archive and a pioneer in the cloning of ancient trees. He has dedicated his life to replanting the genetics of the world's ancient forests. He has led efforts to propogate more than 90 species including the world's oldest redwoods. David's work is featured in the newly released book The Man Who Planted Trees by Jim Robbins. www.ancienttreearchive.org/Published on May 19, 2012 _______________________ CP: One day soon the world will realize what David Milarch proposes is the single most important thing we can do to stabilize the climate, heal the Earth and have a future. I had a similar vision back in 1987 and have planted hundreds of trees - 50 sequoias in the past few years. Thereby I have removed the carbon footprint if several people. What are we waiting for? Big government???

Johnny Appleseed planted apple seeds everywhere he went.
He was like the pothead of his day. Taverns back then served mostly apple cider.
He was planting those trees so there would be apple cider everywhere.
Everyone has their own motivations.
I lay on my back, love of my life beside me, also in awe of nature, looking up at the sky several hundred feet away, through redwoods. Fond memory of visiting Jack London park. Went there a few times while living and working at Bodega Bay. ( Hitchcock movie: "The Birds" ) Riding my bike after work and on weekends, showing my wife places I had learned to love.
