KB723!!! I hear Volbeat and I knew it was you!!! Its Orcas here. Good to see you.
Hey Orcas, I saw them again in March and if they come back again to finish the tour I will go see them again, it was kinda Lame cos the the new album was released on April 9th so they only played 3 new tunes from the new release, I hope the play the Filmore next time so I can get box seats, that include a waitress to bring drinks, the show will cost me about 3 hundred just for the tickets, but I want to be able to see them this time, the March show was at the Ogden Theater in Downtown Denver and they don't offer box seats there, it was a great show, but I would have preferred better viewing...
A most excellent Happy Holiday season to all you Currenteeers ! I've been notably ( OK maybe not so notably ) absent from Current Reborn for the past 6 months putting together retirement investments. I'll be 65 on April 15, 2014. As of now I'm semi retired laid off, and long term unemployed. So I didn't want to be late for my timely transition into less semi. and more full retirement on my Big 65. Make hay while the Sun shines.
Anyway since the topic of this section is music...And my computer skills lack any real experience posting music videos...Undaunted, I want to say THANK YOU to all the very decent Current.com community members who made my sojourn there truely civil. Folks like Brava Travels, Artemis 6, Leen61, Vierotchkia, Jan for Gore, Remanns, Kenny Motown, KB723 and others too numerous to mention are anything but forgotten. You folks not only made my day. You made my 5 years at Current.com worthwhile.
So here's a song tribute to you all to show you how much you truely are missed. It's from the Super 1960s originating from: Who else ? None other than the 4 TOPS. They had a timeless tune called Same Old Song. Like all the other Leo, Aquarius, Taurus, Scorpio personalities I identify with since like me they value constancy... The lyrics of this 4 Tops song express my feeling toward my old Current.com pals now on Google+, and here, and there: " Oh, it's the same old song. There's just a different meaning since you've been gone..." Usualy like the Greek God of Wind Aeolus, I ramble on. But the opening words of that song express how much I miss all of my dear friends, and their pleasant, socialy fulfilling conversations we used to share on Current.com. The lame idea that the Current Corporation is a person; That they made Current.com, has obviously been debunked. WE made Current.com We all know it. I merely wanted to come right out and say it. Because all of you made it great & memorable, and yes, our most excellent adventure. Thanks.
