This is an amazing series of photos from the terrible floods in Calgary. A man and his cat got trapped by a flooding river, and the two of them had to make a break for it through the current to shore. Both cat and owner survived.

It's an amazing story. They were both in his truck trying to escape the flood when his truck got caught in the flood water. They both escaped out the sliding back window of his truck and swam to shore. The man, who followed his cat to shore said that the cat used his tail like an alligator while it was swimming.
